About Mekong -Lancang Cooperation 2023

The Mekong–Lancang Cooperation (MLC) is a regional partnership among six countries—China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. It aims to promote sustainable development, economic connectivity, and mutual prosperity across the Mekong River Basin.

Thailand plays a key role in MLC through policy leadership, technical collaboration, and regional integration, ensuring that the cooperation delivers real and lasting benefits to the people of the region.
