Management System Certification Institute (Thailand) or MASCI recently organized activity under the implementation of industrial cooperation Train the Trainer on “Circular Economy (CE) Capability Building in the Lancang-Mekong Region: Product Verification of Plastics Packaging in Supply Chains” The training took place online via the Zoom platform 5 days during 29 May – 2 June 2566 (2023). Experts in the field of Circular Economy CE from foreign countries namely USA, China and Thailand shared their knowledge and experiences in CE products, particularly plastic packaging in the supply chains. The training was attended by Thai participants about 40 experts from various government, private sector, industries networks under the Ministry of Industry, and academic institutions.
Following the successful completion of the Train the Trainer activity on “Enhancing Competencies in Circular Economy in the Mekong-Lancang Region: Assessing Plastic Packaging in the Supply Chain”, the participants were acquired the necessary skills disseminating their knowledge in the international workshop on CE product verification, with a specific focus on plastic packaging in the supply chain. This forthcoming workshop entitled “CE Product Verification Capability Building for Plastics Packaging in Supply Chains for Lancang-Mekong Region Countries,” is scheduled to be held in August 2023. The participants from MLC countries (Cambodia, Laos PDR, Myanmar, and Vietnam) will be invited with the aim to contribute to the advancement of circular economy practices in the Lancang-Mekong region.
